Maybe there was an error with the "0s" and the 5,000,000.00 should actually be 500,000
Therefore it would go like this
5000/500000 = 0.01x100 = 1%
But 5000/5,000,000 = 0.001 x 100 = 0.1%
Its safe to say based on their answer given the added one "0" too much.
I must be calculating this wrong somehow. Isn't it 5,000/5,000,000? If so, this comes out to 0.001, which is 0.1%. This is not an option. How do I get 1%?
