The function is defined as "access." This establishes what known is needed to determine the Sd to tantrum was "no" therefore the latency could be 3 seconds. Could someone explain why "Unknown" would be the best answer here instead?

If the question ended after the first sentence "Jody had an access-maintained tantrum for 14 minutes and it started 3 seconds after she was told, "No." " then it would be more clearly latency. And I agree that that SHOULD be the answer. But the fact that they add that second sentence in there which refers to more of an IRT... feels like it was meant to throw us off. I try to ask myself "why did they add x to this question".... its annoying how much they try to trick you.

I actually agree with you, I believe the latency is also 3 seconds instead of "unknown"
