Quickly adding more AP's will most likely not make the WiFi work as expected.

in this case it would. It does not say how many APs there is other than the 2 mentioned. Therefor it is possible to add 1 more. The reason for 1, is that you then would then comply with 2.4 Ghz and 3 non-overlapping channels, and thus not needing to also take wlan design into consideration here. More could be added, but thats another story
