Network Layer - Transfers variable length data sequences from a source to destination through one or more networks while also maintaining a quality of service requested by the Transport Layer. 4. Transport Layer - Provides transparent transfer of data between end users, providing reliable data transfer services to the upper layers. 5. Session Layer - Controls the connections between computers. It establishes, manages, and terminates the connections between the local and remote application. 6. Presentation Layer - Establishes a context between the Application layer entities in which the high-layer entities can use different syntax and semantics. 7. Application Layer - Provides a user interface that enables user to access the network and applications.
