A newly established IT steering committee is concerned whether or not a system is meeting availability objectives. Which of the following will provide the BEST information to make an assessment?
Capability maturity levels provide an evaluation criteria by which you can compare your current processes to assess their level of sophistication ranging from barely able to do the thing to (not meeting the objective, initial), doing the thing really really well with dope stuff like automation and even having feedback loops for continuous improvement (optimizing) and everywhere in between ( managed, defined, quantitatively managed). The objective here, is an availability requirement. CMMI is a great model because it can help us identify our current state (our current maturity level) and help us identify a road map to that desired future state.
Capability Maturity Model (CMM) has several
levels and each level identifies where an organization is in terms of their IT management. If the new IT steering committee wants to assess the status of the IT then answer D would provide that.
To determine whether a system can meet it objective - why not performance indicator?
