Question #: 8
Topic #: 4
[All MS-300 Questions]

Your company has a Microsoft 365 subscription.
The company plans to use Office 365 groups and Microsoft Yammer. However, there might be users who do not have a corresponding Yammer identity.
You need to verify which users are only Yammer users. The solution must minimize administrative effort.
What should you do?

  • A. Export the users from Yammer. Export the active users from Microsoft 365. Compare the user names.
  • B. From the Microsoft 365 admin center, view the usage reports.
  • C. Run the Get-MSOLUser cmdlet and filter the results by License.
  • D. Run the Get-TeamUser cmdlet and filter the results by GroupId.

The solution must minimize administrative effort. Therefore answer B is correct as you can view it in an overview the usage reports.

I really think A is the complete solution and the one that makes more sense when you're doing it in real life. But when you read the question carefully, it only asks you to "verify which users are Yammer users only", nothing else. It's not asking to get the users that don't have Yammer license in Office 365.

not really sure but sounds odd. I would assume option A would be the correct answer. In my reports I can only see a state and assigned product... and not if a yammer only user is listed. From the docs: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/admin/activity-reports/yammer-activity-report?view=o365-worldwide Username is the email address of the user. You can display the actual email address or make this field anonymous. This grid shows users who logged into Yammer using the Office 365 account or who logged into the network using single sign-on. Not sure what "network using single sign-on" means. Could be the solution... confusing
