Answer = No because Web servers or App servers use the Branchcache FEATURE. File servers use the branchcache for network files ROLE https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/networking/branchcache/deploy/install-and-configure-content-servers

I agree: NO There are 3 types of Branch-cache enabled servers. HTTP(S), SMB File servers & Certain (MS generally) Application servers. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/networking/branchcache/branchcache
