This question might be typed up incorrectly but from another site it is written as so; - Server1 has two virtual machines named VM1 and VM that run Windows Server 2016. VM1 connects to Private1. VM2 has two network adapters. You need to ensure that VM1 connects to the corporate network by using NAT. Solution: You connect VM2 to Private1 and External1. You install the Remote Access server on VM2, and you configure NAT in the Routing and Remote Access console. You configure VM1 to use VM2 as the default gateway. Does this meet the goal? A. Yes B. No - And the answer to this is 'Yes' which makes sense.

Cnayar! In this question VM1 "AND" VM2 are configured as default gateway, that doesn't seem right to me.

From what I see, they're using a private switch. Can you set up NAT on a private switch? No documentation online has anything about setting NAT on anywhere on a Private switch. Every website (including Microsoft) says you need to set up an Internal switch and then configure NAT. I'm gonna go with no.

My mistake, answer is NO. As Leon said: "VM1 "AND" VM2 = NO ( 2 default gateway is not correct ) VM1 "TO" VM2 = YES ( using only 1 default gateway )" Read carefully!

Its a typo... It should say "You configure VM1 to use VM2 as the default gateway" The answer is YES

No (can't have 2 default gateways) unless typo in question. 2 scenarios are correct: 1. VM2 connected to Pvt NW (same as VM1) as well as Ext NW. VM2 acts as Default Gateway and NAT for VM1.VM2 must have RRAS installed. 2. VM1 connected to Int NW so it can talk to host. Server/Host acts as Default Gateway and NAT for VM1. Server/Host must have RRAS installed.

You configure VM1 and VM2 as the default gateway. <=== this is why the aqswer is NO (this is tricky question. if VM1 use VM2 as a gateway which will make the answer become YES.

No it isn't a typo, it's intentionally written that way to check if we know that you cannot have more than one default gateway per node. Question 85 is the correct answer which is the same except it lists configuring VM1 to use VM2 as the default gateway. So the answer to this question is NO.
