I think, because subnet2 and subnet3 are different subnets. To get a DHCP lease from Server2, Server1 should be set up as DHCP relay agent. This can be done with the Routing Role service on Server1

Routing role on Server1 supports DHCP Relay Agent. Install the Routing role service on Server1, and then on interface to Subnet2 with address 10.10.1.1, enable DHCP Relay Agent protocol to relay DHCP Discover messages received from Subnet2 to be sent to Server2 on Subnet3,

https://forsenergy.com/en-us/rras/html/44d8e108-7e12-42a0-adac-2e6624979185.htm The DHCP Relay Agent component relays DHCP messages between DHCP clients and DHCP servers on different IP networks. Because DHCP is a broadcast-based protocol, by default its packets do not pass through routers. A DHCP relay agent receives any DHCP broadcasts on the subnet and forwards them to the specified IP address on a different subnet. The DHCP Relay Agent is compliant with RFC 1542, "Clarifications and Extensions for the Bootstrap Protocol." For each IP network segment that contains DHCP clients, either a DHCP server or a computer acting as a DHCP Relay Agent is required.

I think C, which is the Routing role service, is correct.I think the Routing role service is the LAN routing service. The LAN routing service includes DHCP Relay Agent as a protocol. Further DHCP Relay Agent isn't DHCP feature.

I think C is correct. I understand Routing Service Role is a part of Direct Access. Direct Access contains following services: -DirectAccess VPN(RAS) -Routing -WEB Application Proxy https://msftwebcast.com/2020/02/configure-lan-routing-in-windows-server-2019.html

Because of this requirement, cannot install DHCP role on Server1 - Ensure that devices on Subnet2 obtain TCP/IP settings from DHCP on Server2. Install Routing role and make Server1 a DHCP Relay to relay messages between DHCP server and clients.

You install the Remote Access server role on Server2. Server2 has the following configured: ✑ Network address translation (NAT) ✑ The DHCP Server server role the server 2 had already instralled DHCP server role, why install the server role second time? therefore, I would go with C, install routing service role on server1.

Server 1 should already have the Routing role installed because subnet 1 is already there and we see there at least two NICs on Server 1, one of which is forwarding traffic to Server 2. Wouldn't the answer be B? Install IPAM to manage the DHCP scope for subnet 2?

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/networking/technologies/dhcp/dhcp-top - I see now why installing IPAM on Server 2 is incorrect. DHCP need to be installed on Server 1 to relay DHCP requests to Server 2. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/networking/technologies/dhcp/dhcp-top

The requirement: ✑ Ensure that devices on Subnet2 obtain TCP/IP settings from DHCP on Server2. What should you do to meet the DHCP connectivity requirement for Subnet2? => Because DHCP needs to be fulfilled by Server2, you configure Server1 to relay the DHCP requests to Server2. Answer C seems the most likely here to me.

I think the answer is C, The relay agent can join the DHCP requests from differnet sbunets as per: https://www.itechguides.com/dhcp-relay-agent-configuration-in-windows-server-2016/ Its answer C rather than A as the Relay needs to be in the middle of the subnets and this is server 1
