with the first command you select checkpoint type (standard/production) then you create the checkpoint https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/hyper-v-on-windows/user-guide/checkpoints

Does anyone know why a new Checkpoint and old Checkpoint (Snapshot) are made here?

FOR U Bro ( Anton2020 ) :- Hyper-V includes two types of checkpoints: (Standard checkpoints: Take a snapshot of the virtual machine and memory together, which is why I set it in a quote. However, production checkpoints are not taken snapshot of the virtual machine's memory status.)
