Plans theme minimum requirements: • Ensure that plans enable the business case to be realised, • Have at least 2 management stages: an initiation stage and at least 1 other management stage. The more complex and riskier a project, the more management stages that will be required. • Produce a project plan for the project as a whole and a stage plan for each management stage. • Use product-based planning for the project plan, stage plans and exception plans. • Produce specific plans for managing exceptions. • Define the roles and responsibilities for planning. •Use lessons to inform planning. Definition: Team plan - An optional level of plan used as the basis for team management control when executing work packages. In a PRINCE2 project the team plan is produced by the Team Manager.

Selected Answer: B
B is correct. Team plans are an essential component of the Plans theme, as they detail how specific teams will contribute to the overall project plan. The other options listed may be useful in project management, but they are not specific requirements for applying the Plans theme
