Easy one, answer is B. Let's go: A. Datastore Cluster - No, this is a storage construct in VSphere that aggregates datastores. Has nothing to do directly with PVs. B. Storage Class - Yes, PVC's are associated with a storage class (defined by a VSphere storage policy) C. vVols - No, this is a volume virtualisation technology used at the hypervisor layer in VSphere and again doesn't have anything to do with PVs D. Persistent Volume Claim - This is how we get the PV, but the question asks how we define the type of storage backing it... SC is a better answer.
