Selected Answer: A
In a single-tier deployment, only Tier-0 gateways are used (no Tier-1). The segments are directly connected to the Tier-0 layer. In a multitier deployment, segments are connected to the Tier-1 gateways, and the Tier-1 gateways are connected to the Tier-0 gateway. So, answer should be A. ICM Lecture Guide 5-12

Key word is multi-teir. You need a T1 for multi-teir.

It is a very confused Question, i think A is right because the N-S Traffic is still there. And the question is not really for N-S, it is for the Multitier. And Multitier is only possible with T1.

Planning to deploy a multi-tier, not moving from single tier to multi-tier. Also, a Tier-0 can act as DR but a Tier-1 cannot act as SR for N/S traffic. Answer C - Tier-0

The correct answer is C. "North-South" term on NSX-T is used to express network connection between VMs(workloads) with physical Network. So don't be confused with what do we need to successfully have North-South connection with North-South itself .

Very confuse question, because for multi tier we must Deploy T0 & T1 and for North-South you must deploy ESG too; But would answer T1 because of multi tier information in the question, because with out T1 you don't have a multi tier topology;

I think the correct answer is A. North-south connectivity=T0 Multi-tier routing topology=T0+T1 Connection to VMs =T1

Selected Answer: A
ESG is a concept of NSX-V, so Not B. Layer 2 Gateway ... doens't mean anything ... Not D To do a Multi-Tier, we need T0 & T1. But N/S traffic is still handled by T0, and also T1 on multi Tier design. I would say A

I believe B, we need an ESG to connect anything via North-South.

As the question says, “planning to deploy a multi-tier routing… to provide north-south…” (don’t says single tier) this is possible using a tier-0 Gateway, then the answer is “C”
