A REASONING ACCORDING TO THE CPT 1400-11646 FOR BENIGN AND MALIGNANT LESIONS THE EXCISON CODES INCLUDE THE REMOVAL OF TH LESION ALONG WITH MARGIN OF SURROUNDED TISSUE NECESSARY FOR COMPLETE REMOVAL. AND A SIMPLE CLOSURE OR SINGLE LAYER AS PART OF THE PROCEDURE.
