Selected Answer: D
D. AWS Auto Scaling "Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling helps you maintain application availability and lets you automatically add or remove EC2 instances using scaling policies that you define. Dynamic or predictive scaling policies let you add or remove EC2 instance capacity to service established or real-time demand patterns. The fleet management features of Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling help maintain the health and availability of your fleet." https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/autoscaling/

in the context of the question, Predictive scaling policies can be used to remove some EC2 instances at night coz the usage pattern is known with daytime running more workload.

Ok, it says "service or purchasing option", so maybe it's Auto Scaling.

The question is “which purchasing option, so it’s Reserved Instances. There is no additional charge for AWS Auto Scaling. https://aws.amazon.com/autoscaling/pricing/

Auto Scaling can be configured based on various metrics, such as CPU utilization, network traffic, or application-specific custom metrics. By setting appropriate scaling policies and thresholds, the company can ensure that the EC2 instances scale up or down as required to handle the fluctuating workload.
