The AWS services that a company can use to host and run a MySQL database are Amazon RDS and Amazon EC2.
Amazon RDS is a fully-managed relational database service that makes it easy to set up, operate, and scale a MySQL database in the cloud.
Amazon EC2 is a compute service that allows you to run your own virtual machines on the AWS Cloud. You can install and configure MySQL on Amazon EC2, but you will be responsible for managing the database.
