Design principles for sustainability in the cloud
Reduce the downstream impact of your cloud workloads: Reduce the amount of energy or resources required to use your services. Reduce or eliminate the need for customers to upgrade their devices to use your services. Test using device farms to understand expected impact and test with customers to understand the actual impact from using your services.

This goal represents the "Reliability" pillar because it focuses on ensuring that the mobile app can be used by customers without requiring them to upgrade their mobile devices. Reliability in the context of the AWS Well-Architected Framework refers to the ability of a system to operate correctly and consistently, without disruptions or failures. By designing the mobile app to be compatible with a wide range of mobile devices, the company is aiming to provide a reliable user experience and minimize the need for device upgrades, which can be costly and inconvenient for customers.
