A would be easiest depending if the the ticketing tool can understand the request. I assume it would be based on an email subscription, or as stated an endpoint. similar to how you can send something to like [email protected] and when it hits that E-mail they have a rule on their end synced with their ticketing system to create the tickets based on the content

I vote for A, it is the simplest solution and is the one indicated in https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpn/latest/s2svpn/monitoring-cloudwatch-vpn.html . But you have to assume that the internal ticketing tool is able to understand the message sent by the SNS service.

Option C also works, but is more complicated. It would be the correct option if the ticketing system does not accept any of the SNS message formats, or the ticket required more information than the alarm provided.

why you say this is obvious ? Is it written anywhere that internal ticketing tool can be subscribed to the tool" if so, they would write that ticket can be opened by email.
