The limit of 5 Elastic IP addresses per region for EC2 instances is a soft limit. Soft limits can be increased or raised by submitting a request to AWS support. If you need more than 5 Elastic IP addresses for your EC2 instances in a specific region, you can contact AWS support and request a limit increase.
