A sure, you can use Expedited retrievals to access data in 1 – 5 minutes for a flat rate of $0.03 per GB retrieved. Expedited retrievals allow you to quickly access your data when occasional urgent requests for a subset of archives are required

A is correct because there is no mention of how large the video files are. Amazon S3 Glacier has with expedited retrieval allows you to quickly access your data when you need to have almost immediate access to your information. This retrieval type can be used for archives up to 250MB. Expedited retrieval usually completes within 1 and 5 minutes.

Answer is A, S3 Glacier as that is the cheapest option and also satisfies the retrieval requirement S3 One Zone - Infrequent Access * - For re-createable infrequently accessed data that needs millisecond access All Storage / Month $0.01 per GB S3 Glacier ** - For long-term backups and archives with retrieval option from 1 minute to 12 hours All Storage / Month $0.004 per GB S3 One Zone - Infrequent Access * - For re-createable infrequently accessed data that needs millisecond access All Storage / Month $0.01 per GB S3 Glacier ** - For long-term backups and archives with retrieval option from 1 minute to 12 hours All Storage / Month $0.004 per GB

NOT A - What is the MOST cost-effective solution? Expedited retrievals are the fastest option, but they are also the most expensive, costing $0.03 per GB and $0.01 per request

Selected Answer: C
C is the answer, this is due to the fact that the question states what is the most cost-effective. In this scenario if you calculate the costs of storing and including retrievals C is the most cost-effective solution

Expedited – Expedited retrievals allow you to quickly access your data that's stored in the S3 Glacier Flexible Retrieval storage class or the S3 Intelligent-Tiering Archive Access tier when occasional urgent requests for a subset of archives are required. For all but the largest archives (more than 250 MB), data accessed by using Expedited retrievals is typically made available within 1–5 minutes. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amazonglacier/latest/dev/downloading-an-archive-two-steps.html

A for several reasons: - key term archive - Glacier is the cheapest. - Expedited retrievals give access to date in 1-5 minutes (as it is a rare case it is the best balance)

This is NOT A: For all but the largest archives (250 MB+), data accessed using Expedited retrievals are typically made available within 1–5 minutes. Do you think your video archives are under 250 MB?

A: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amazonglacier/latest/dev/downloading-an-archive-two-steps.html Expedited — Expedited retrievals allow you to quickly access your data when occasional urgent requests for a subset of archives are required. For all but the largest archives (250 MB+), data accessed using Expedited retrievals are typically made available within 1–5 minutes. Provisioned Capacity ensures that retrieval capacity for Expedited retrievals is available when you need it. For more information, see Provisioned Capacity. Standard — Standard retrievals allow you to access any of your archives within several hours. Standard retrievals typically complete within 3–5 hours. This is the default option for retrieval requests that do not specify the retrieval option.
