50TB is too huge for Storage Gateway.. 1 virtual tape is 2.5TB only. so for 50TB we would need 20 virtual tapes.. I don't think there wouldn't be a network disruption.

The link says it is for NEW data, not existing archives - "Tape Gateway supports archiving your NEW virtual tapes directly to S3 Glacier and S3 Glacier Deep Archive, helping you meet your backup, archive, and recovery requirements."

"Tape Gateway supports archiving your new virtual tapes directly to S3 Glacier and S3 Glacier Deep Archive" means virtual tapes is S3 so you can't directly archive it to glacier before storing it to S3. Concluding the correct answer is D.

No need of D as SGWY can backup directly to Deep Archive. Also weeks notice will be given and Deep archive can retrieve between 12-48 hrs. Swnoball edge cannot backup directly to S3 DA.
