Between B and C, both are referring to 'Volume' Gateways. Storage Gateways enable access to S3 bucket from on prem. Volume gateways are used for iscsi volumes/snapshots. Frankly,I would have chosen a normal File Storage GW as the volume GW are mainly for snapshots, not day to day content. Volume GW have 2 options, -Cached volumes: low latency access to most recent data, rest is on S3 bucket -Stored Volumes: entire data set is on prem, scheduled backups to S3 Since running out of space on-prem, Stored Volumes(C) and (D) ie store data locally are eliminated.
