As we speak, the answer should be B, which S3 could be accessed through private virtual interface. you can establish access to Amazon S3 in the following ways: Use a public IP address over Direct Connect Use a private IP address over Direct Connect (with an interface VPC endpoint) https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/s3-bucket-access-direct-connect/

it should be D. As it does not mentions using interface vpc endpoint with private vif... I think we should use public vif for s3, private vif for the private ec2 instance access..

with the introduction of VPC interface endpoint for S3, you can use a private VIF only (if the s3 bucket is in the same region as the private VIF)
