B. Configure a gateway endpoint for traffic destined to Amazon S3. Because data transfer between Amazon ECS and Amazon S3 without going out the Internet, so using S3 Gateway Endpoint is enough.

This question was on my test that I passed on Nov 20 2021. I picked B. Roughly half of the questions are from this 500 examtopics dump. But other half were unheard of new and lengthy ones in my test. Some of those questions had similarities but had twisted options. Good luck ya'll.

B. As the question says "company is concerned about the data transfer costs". So, if you use Gateway endpoint, there'll be no additional cost. But, if you use Interface endpoint then there'll be a cost. So, the option B is correct. Selected Answer: B
A gateway endpoint is a gateway that is a target for a route in your route table used for traffic destined to either Amazon S3 or DynamoDB. There is no charge for using gateway endpoints. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/privatelink/vpc-endpoints.html
