It's C or D. This question is not clear. Priority for VPC route table: In general, we direct traffic using the most specific route that matches the traffic. This is known as the longest prefix match. If your route table has overlapping or matching routes, additional rules apply. ref: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/VPC_Route_Tables.html#route-tables-priority Priority for TGW: Static routes (for example, Site-to-Site VPN static routes) Prefix list referenced routes VPC propagated routes Direct Connect gateway propagated routes Transit Gateway Connect propagated routes Site-to-Site VPN propagated routes ref: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/tgw/how-transit-gateways-work.html#tgw-route-evaluation-overview

Isn't possible answer this question, because there's two situation. No clear is question. If question is from route-table VPC, longest prefix win, letter C.If question is about from route-table TGW, DX is always prefer over VPN, prefix isn't important there. So, letter A win.

I am gonna paste this here again. Before claiming anything for this question please properly read this : https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/VPC_Route_Tables.html#route-tables-priority Clearly the first thing a VPC checks is "Longest Prefix Match".

If the question mentioned Direct Connect and VPN, we are got it this scenery is about AWS, and what about their said about that? Can I use AWS Direct Connect and a VPN Connection to the same VPC simultaneously? Yes. However, only in fail-over scenarios. The Direct Connect path will always be preferred, when established, regardless of AS path prepending. https://www.amazonaws.cn/en/directconnect/faqs/ So, my answer is A: DX over a more specific prefix 192.168.0.0/16 AS65000 over Direct Connect

You have answered yourself: "Can I use AWS Direct Connect and a VPN Connection to the same VPC simultaneously?" Same VPC means same prefix then you are right. Here we have multiple different subnets so this rule is not valid->longest prefix wins.

Longest prefix always wins. Does not matter if it is over VPN or DX. (Question is not complete but we know what they are asking for) C is the answer.
