For Security pov: AWS DataSync: For data stored in Amazon S3, DataSync supports S3-managed encryption keys (SSE-S3) or AWS Key Management Service (SSE-KMS). Remember AWS DataSync is not continuous replication / Transfer. it's a scheduled service e.g. hourly, daily, weekly etc. The questions asking for transfer of live DataStream / DataSet so, A makes more sense to me.
