BE seems suitable for staff access services via web app. I think cognito is more for users without aws account. “AWS Single Sign-On (AWS SSO) is now AWS IAM Identity Center. It is where you create, or connect, your workforce users once and centrally manage their access to multiple AWS accounts and applications.” https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2022/07/aws-single-sign-on-aws-sso-now-aws-iam-identity-center/

I think E is not right. For Cognito, it is for customer-facing apps.

I will choose C + E. Cognito is ideal for user authentication for web apps. We then need to assign an IAM role to authenticated users (via Cognito identify federation) to allow them to access AWS resources (such as S3).

I agree with E, Cognito is good for sign in with password, not sure very sure about C. Seems after 570 the question are newer and there are very few comments.
