The answer is definitely B & E. Just read this and you'll be convinced those are the correct answers since it's almost verbatim in the article. https://wa.aws.amazon.com/wellarchitected/2020-07-02T19-33-23/wat.concept.elasticity.en.html It seems people who are choosing D are not reading or understanding the question carefully. The question asks what elasticity refers to and it has everything to do with resources, either scaling up/down, in/out whenever needed. Pay-as-you-go modeling is for all AWS products/services, so it doesn't just define elasticity.

B. The ability to rightsize resources as demand shifts E. How easily resources can be procured when they are needed https://wa.aws.amazon.com/wat.concept.elasticity.en.html "The ability to acquire resources as you need them and release resources when you no longer need them. In the cloud, you want to do this automatically." "Most people, when thinking of cloud computing, think of the ease with which they can procure resources when needed. This is only one aspect to elasticity. The other aspect is to contract when they no longer need resources. Scale out and scale in. Scale up and scale down."

B. The ability to rightsize resources as demand shifts E. How easily resources can be procured when they are needed Elasticity in the AWS Cloud refers to the ability to quickly and easily scale resources up or down as demand shifts. It allows you to rightsize resources such as Amazon EC2 instances and Amazon RDS DB instances, to meet the needs of your applications. This means that you can automatically or manually increase or decrease the number of resources as needed, and also you can automatically or manually increase or decrease the size of resources. Another aspect of elasticity is how easily resources can be procured when they are needed. With AWS, you can quickly provision resources such as Amazon EC2 instances and Amazon RDS DB instances, and you can also use services like Auto Scaling and Elastic Load Balancing to automatically scale your resources based on demand. It's worth noting that Elasticity is a core feature of cloud computing, and it enables organizations to optimize costs, improve performance, and increase agility.
