EBS: Attaches only to 1 instance at a time. EFS: Network File System, you can attach to multiple instances at a time.

It allows multiple EC2 instances to access a shared file system simultaneously. EFS is designed to be highly available and durable, and automatically scales to the amount of data stored on it. EFS is a perfect fit for applications that require shared access to files, such as big data, analytics, and content management.
