C is correct answer. A is costly and mean that your supplier is unqualified. B it is not your job to train the supplier. D it is not your job to help the supplier develop quality control processes.
I believe C is the correct answer. It is the supplier's responsibility to improve their processes and decrease variation. What you can do is conduct regular audits, identify gaps, request an action plan, and follow up regularly. If the supplier needs help with implementation, such as SPC other tools, the SQ team can provide training and guidance. Therefore, conducting audits and developing an action plan is the best course of action.
