A TCP based application that should be accessible over the VPN tunnel is not working. Pings to the appropriate IP address are failing. Based on the output, what is a fix for this issue?
A.
Add a route on the remote peer for 209.165.201.0/27.
B.
Add a route on the local peer for 10.1.1.0/24.
C.
Add a permit for TCP traffic going to 10.1.1.0/24.
D.
Add a permit for TCP traffic going to 209.165.201.0/27.
tunnel working 1 way...remote peer need to reach local peer...A makes sense...this exam source is less relevent coz why admin is allowing wrong answers to be voted for???
The question metioned that "Pings to the appropriate IP address are failing". So it's the routing that is the prob. (Cause ping is not tcp, it's icmp).
Hence the answer is A, since the cli shows successful encap but no decryption. which means the otherside vpn is hving problem sending traffic to this vpn
C. I tested this in the lab. And you need to specify the service in the ACL.
