Drag and drop the first four stages of a DevOps toolchain from the left into the order on the right to create a new complex product. Not all options are used.
I go with:
1. Gather requirements and assign development tasks
2.Design, build, and test application code
3.Combine code with infrastructure requirements
4.Set necessary properties, files, and dependencies
My take on this, I don't know if it's the right solution but maybe it can help.
The "Set necessary properties, files, and dependencies" as a stage just doesn't sit right with me and
https://www.atlassian.com/devops/devops-tools/choose-devops-tools
there you have the DevOps Infinite Loop:
- Plan
- Build
- Test
- Deploy
- Operate
- Observe
- Continuous Feedback
- Discover
- Plan
so I tried to map this loop to the options we have:
- Stage1: Plan ---- Gather requirements and assign development tasks.
- Stage2: Build+Test ---- Design, build, and test application code.
- Stage3: Deploy ---- Combine code with infrastructure requirements.
- Stage4: Operate+Observe+Continuous Feedback+Discover ---- Review uptime and performance.
- Set necessary properties, files, and dependencies.
- Perform acceptance and integration testing and security scans.
i kinda agree with the provided answer more because we aren't asked the complete steps of devops chain just the first four stages and this makes more sense now
