Refer to the exhibit. An architect must design a solution to connect bank site A with bank site B and support:
• network operation center monitoring end-to-end L3VPN and L2VPN traffic
• company adding thousands of routes in the next two years

Which two BGP solutions must the design include? (Choose two.)

  • A. Establish full mesh IBGP peering with all routers in different IGP domains.
  • B. Redistribute different IGP domain routes in a BGP IPv4 routing instance.
  • C. Connect multiple IGP/LDP domains using a BGP IPv4 unicast family on the ABR.
  • D. Apply BGP policies on all routers to filter out ABR and PE loopback IP addresses.
  • E. Transport site routes using a BGP VPNv4 address family on the PE routers.

Selected Answer: CE
C & E C. Connect multiple IGP/LDP domains using a BGP IPv4 unicast family on the ABR - This is a suitable solution as it enables connecting different IGP domains at the ABR (Area Border Router) level using BGP for inter-domain routing. This provides a scalable solution for managing the growing number of routes and interconnecting bank sites A and B. E. Transport site routes using a BGP VPNv4 address family on the PE routers - This is a suitable solution as it enables transporting both L3VPN and L2VPN traffic using the BGP VPNv4 address family on the Provider Edge (PE) routers. This provides the necessary support for end-to-end traffic monitoring and scalability as the company adds thousands of routes in the future.

According to this document C and D This one is a beast to lab... not worth it. Will try it out when I have the time.. but docs are pretty clear. D. Apply BGP policies on all routers to filter out ABR and PE loopback IP addresses - While filtering routes is important, this option alone does not provide a complete solution for the given requirements, and it does not address the end-to-end L3VPN and L2VPN traffic monitoring and scalability issues. I believe C & E are still correct: Reasoning for E: E.
