Refer to the exhibit. Clients on ALS2 receive IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, but clients on ALS1 receive only IPv4 addresses and not IPv6 addresses. Which action on DSW1 allows clients on ALS1 to receive IPv6 addresses?
A.
Configure DSW1(dhcp-config)#default-router 2002:A04:A01::A04:A01
B.
Configure DSW1(config-if)#ipv6 dhcp relay destination 2002:404:404::404:404 GigabitEthernet1/2
C.
Configure DSW1(config)#ipv6 route 2002:404:404::404:404/128 FastEthernet1/0
D.
Configure DSW1(config-if)#ipv6 helper address 2002:404:404::404:404
Given answer is correct per cisco book page 75.
To relay the DHCPv6 messages to a DHCPv6 server in another network, the local router
interface in the network the client belongs to needs to be configured as a DHCPv6 relay
agent, using the ipv6 dhcp relay destination interface configuration command. Example
1-24 shows interface Gigabit Ethernet 0/0 configured with the command ipv6 dhcp relay
destination 2001:db8:a:b::7, which is used to forward SOLICIT messages to a DHCPv6
server at the address listed.
Example 1-24 Configuring R1 as a DHCPv6 Relay Agent
R1# config t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
R1(config)# interface gigabitethernet0/0
R1(config-if)# ipv6 dhcp relay destination 2001:db8:a:b::7
Clients on ALS2 receive IPv6 addresses because DSW1 has been configured with the ipv6 dhcp relay destination command, allowing it to forward IPv6 DHCP requests to the DHCP server.
DSW1 Fa0/0 and Fa0/1 are layer 3 interfaces so both need the dhcp relay configured.
