Not sure what you mean by a hazing, but it gets faster the more you know. I did this in 2 days (while on a full time job) after a few months of study, but if I did it at the start it would've taken way longer. Just keep practicing. It'll be rough but it def gets easier

CCNA is fundamental knowledge, but most of the questions expect you to become a walking Cisco manual. Most of this stuff you will forget and then look up as you need it on the job; fundamentals will stick with you. Most of the value in the CCNA is conferring a basic understanding of networking principles.
