Why do they make it difficult instead of simply saying incoming traffic?

Let me say that first: I'm not a native speaker of English. But CCNA is about learning A LOT of new terminology. "Ingress traffic" is one example - you should know what that means, even if there are alternative terms. I know that preparing for the exam takes a lot of work (I myself am busy for so long already!). But do try to trust that you can make it - not because they make it easy for you, but because you know the terms that you need.

Selected Answer: C
The answer given is correct The switch looks at the source address of an incoming frame before it looks at the destination address. It's the source MAC addresses that are used to build the all-important MAC address table.
