Sequence numbers - This 2-byte field contains the number referencing a particular packet and can help in detecting lost packets and placing the packets in the correct order. However, we have to remember that these are part of a UDP stream, and so sequencing is not tightly controlled by the host. These numbers increase by one for each packet sent by the same source. RFC 3550 recommends that these numbers start at a random value to make them less predictable
