The correct answer is E. BFD. In the first release of BFD, the supported protocols are OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP and BGP. Bidirectional Forwarding Detection provides a method for network administrators to configure sub-second Layer 2 failure detection between adjacent network nodes.
