Subinterfaces configured with different subnet mask so its seem switch has multiple vlans and allow communication between vlan, router and inter-vlan we need to make a trunk port. So B will be the correct answer.

B is the correct answer according to CCENT/CCNA ICND1 100-105 Official Certification Guide. “In addition, most Cisco routers do not attempt to negotiate trunking, so in most cases, both the router and switch need to manually configure trunking". So, we have to think a lot on the exam.

The answer should be A. You configure the trunk port on the switch not the router when configuring subinterfaces.
