Question asks for Authentication and Encryption... therefore only option A provides this for us. It didn't asks us what encryption to specifically use, so we can just use anyone we want.

Process of elimination only b makes sense. May be some output in answers were missing for encryption protcol (des/3des/aes)

I don't understand how B is the answer. It specifically asks for encryption, and B doesn't include any encryption. I used this config in a lab to confirm the SNMP packets aren't encrypted if you use SNMPv3 and only do Auth.

I think option A is the answer. Option B does not have encription.
