BGP PIC is for fast recovery on backup links (route) .. core only has 2 routers.. can you explain? RFC 3107 also has northing to do with Fast recovery.. can you also explain ur answer?

RFC 3107 is Inter-AS Option C. A and C are the answers for this solution.

RFC 3107 is actually BGP-LU, which is an essential element of Seamless mpls. which may or may not involve VPNv4. PIC is needed for fast 50 ms convergence. I would go with AE.

Questions like these are why ExamTopics exists. PIC core is not listed on the SPCOR blueprint. It's listed on the CCIE-SP blueprint. This question is out of scope for the SPCOR according to Cisco, but I had it on my failed exam attempt yesterday.

Not sure if question have anything to do with PIC core though.. PIC core has to do with failure.. but u are right.. Cisco is notorious for throwing off center with badly worded questions and vague MCQ's that have no relevance to real world scenarios.. ... but, hey ho.. they run the shop

PIC core is one of the answers because the question asks for "service recovery up to 50 ms". So you have to know that PIC core is used to improve the convergence time.
