The key thing here is that they are talking about transfer vpn traffic.
The transfer of the traffic is based on labels so we are not in L3 there, we are in the famous layer 2.5. It's fine that we need IGP between the P routers cause they need to know their P2P links or loopbacks for LDP sessions, but again if we are talking about vpn traffic we are not talking about L3
I would say its A and C
RSVP (Resource Reservation Protocol) is not used by P routers to transfer VPN traffic between PE routers in an MPLS network because its primary function is different. RSVP is used by routers to deliver quality-of-service (QoS) requests to all nodes along data flow paths and to establish and maintain state for the requested service
MP-BGP is used to send extended communities; namely the route-distringuisher, which is appended to the prefix to make it unique.
PE Router;
address-family ipv4 vpn vpnrandomname
send-community-extended (enabled by default on newer IOS versions)
neighbor 1.1.1.1 activate (activate the other PE router so I send the VPNV4 prefix: RD: Ipv4-Prefix
To enable MPLS on all routers in the core, you must configure a label distribution protocol. You can use either of the following as a label distribution protocol:
• MPLS Label Distribution Protocol (LDP).
• MPLS Traffic Engineering Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP)
