An engineer in a branch office that does not have a wired backhaul must ensure that local clients can be switched locally and authenticated centrally. In which mode must the AP be configured?
Flex+Bridge mode: In this mode, the AP can operate both in regular Bridge mode (similar to Local mode, where all traffic is centrally switched toward the controller) and in FlexConnect mode (where some traffic can be locally switched). Just like a FlexConnect AP, an AP in Flex+Bridge mode supports a loss of connection to the controller (and then operates in standalone mode until connection is reestablished). The WLANs associated with the AP can be configured for either central switching or local switching.
B should be correct as in Chapter 7. Designing Wireless Mesh Networks, stated :Cisco mesh APs can also be deployed in FlexConnect bridging mode, where all wireless traffic is locally switched at the AP; however, this section deals with mesh APs that are deployed in central controller mode.
