Selected Answer: D
A. Incorrect. Router 1 is configured to receive multiple paths due to the bgp additional-paths receive command, not just the best path. B. Incorrect. Router 1 is configured to send multiple paths due to the neighbor 192.168.1.1 additional-paths send command, not just the best path. C. Incorrect. The configuration does not specify the number of paths to send; it only indicates that additional paths can be sent. The group-best selection does not imply exactly three paths, it means the best path from each group. D. Correct. Router 1 is configured to send and receive multiple best paths from its neighbor due to both the bgp additional-paths receive and neighbor 192.168.1.1 additional-paths send receive commands. The advertise additional-paths group-best command further specifies that multiple best paths (i.e., the best path from each group) will be advertised to the neighbor. Therefore, the correct effect of this configuration on Router 1 is: D. Router 1 sends and receives multiple best paths from neighbor 192.168.1.1.

It think B because at the AF level there is no "send" and the AF level is restrictive so it will only send 1 path. B. Router 1 sends only one best path to neighbor 192.168.1.1

No, the neighbor-level command having higher precedence over the address-family statement.
