the option Do Not Wait For Interdigit Timeout On Subsequent Hops on the translation pattern has to be set. If this option is set, then after matching the translation pattern, Unified CM will not wait for any further digits and will just match the translated called party number against the patterns identified by the CSS defined on the intermediate translation pattern. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/srnd/collab12/collab12/dialplan.html#11439
