Without the TEHO feature, the international call from the UK Phone to US PSTN (National-SJ) is more expensive because it is routed through the local gateway UK-GW, the call is subject to international charges, with TEHO the UK Phone placed a call to National-SJ is routed through the US Gateway US-GW, the call appears as national and therefore less expensive. https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/s/question/0D56e0000C4Mh8GCQS/tail-end-hop-off-teho-with-globalized-call-routing
