A network engineer configures a Cisco ACI fabric with this configuration:
• Endpoint-1 with an IP address 10.1.0.1/24 is attached to Leaf-101.
• Endpoint-2 with an IP address 10.1.0.2/24 is attached to Leaf-102.
• Both endpoints are in EPG-A.
• The bridge domain for EPG-A is called BD-A and contains a single subnet 10.1.0.254/24.
• Endpoint-1 cannot reach Endpoint-2.

Selected Answer: B
EPG Communication in Cisco ACI: In Cisco ACI, communication between endpoints in the same or different Endpoint Groups (EPGs) requires a contract. By default, no traffic is allowed between EPGs or even within the same EPG unless explicitly permitted by a contract. Why a Contract is Needed? Even though both endpoints are in the same EPG (EPG-A), Cisco ACI enforces policy-driven communication. Without a contract, traffic between Endpoint-1 and Endpoint-2 will be dropped.

Selected Answer: A
To allow Endpoint-1 to communicate with Endpoint-2, ensure that the bridge domain (BD-A) has "Unicast Routing" enabled. This feature allows Layer 3 routing between endpoints in the same bridge domain but connected to different leaf switches.

agree, basically end point in the same EPG will communicate without contract, and need to enable intra EPG to make each endpoint in the same EPG to block the communication.
