An engineer is connecting a Cisco 5508 Wireless Controller that must connect to an out-of-band management network for management only. Which two options should be used for the port on the WLC and the cable type? (Choose two.)
I think A and E can be correct.
Although it is true the service port is not auto-sensing, the switch is very likely to be.
You do not need both devices to be auto-sensing, only one side. The switch will use MDIX to convert the signal so you can use a straight-through cable, if it is capable.
Having said that, is is not stated what device you are connecting to, nor whether that device is auto-sensing or not. But I believe without that info, A and E is most likely to be correct.
Would think it would be A and F because..
Connecting the service port to a OOB network rather than a PC for management implies it is connected to a switch. If connected to a switch, then since Service port is non-autosensing the cable should be crossover. Straight through cables are for PCs
