A and B are correct
[..] applications must reside in one of the external Solid State Drive (SSD) storage options (USB 3.0 or M2 SATA), depending on the specific Cisco Catalyst 9000 platforms. Applications have no access to the internal device flash storage, which is reserved for Cisco IOS XE to protect its integrity. The M2 Sata can be internal or external SSD.

The SD Card is nly supported on the 3400 and for the 9300 it states a SSD to be plugged in. The questions asks on a 9000 series.
On a 9400 the storage plugs into the supervisor card. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-9400-series-switches/nb-06-cat9400-ser-sup-eng-data-sheet-cte-en.pdf.
on the 9500 it appears external https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-9500-series-switches/nb-06-cat9500-ser-data-sheet-cte-en.html.
On 9600 its on the supervisor https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-9600-series-switches/nb-06-cat9600-series-data-sheet-cte-en.html.
Appears those switches that are modular are on the supervisor card itself and those that are stackable are external SSD. Given that it appears A and B is correct.
You are correct with A & B. This is from the Study Guide, page 153:
"There are two major requirements to enable application hosting on Catalyst 9000:
‐ External storage. Two options are available, depending on the platform: USB 3.0 or SATA SSD drives, with AES‐256 encryption (as a sidenote, starting Cisco IOS XE 17.3.3, application hosting is supported on the internal bootflash, but only for Cisco‐signed applications)."
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9300/hardware/install/b_c9300_hig/b_c9300_hig_chapter_01010.html
"SSD-120G provides an extra 120GB of storage for application hosting."
Agree with A & B
Applications must reside in one of the external Solid State Drive (SSD) storage options (USB 3.0 or M2 SATA).
M2 SATA can be internal or external SSD.

It's A and D. "Moreover, applications must reside in one of the external Solid State Drive (SSD) storage options (USB 3.0 or M2 SATA), depending on the specific Cisco Catalyst 9000 platforms.", so only EXTERNAL options are available and Cisco Catalyst 9300 has an SD-CARD slot that can be formatted as EXT4 too: https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/security/cyber_vision/Cisco_Cyber_Vision_Network_Sensor_Installation_Guide_for_Cisco_IE3400_and_Catalyst_9300_3_1_1.pdf
