To enable message digest5 (MD5) authentication on a TCP connection between two BGP peers, use the neighbor password command in router configuration mode. To disable this function, use the no form of this command. neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} password string no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} password
